Does this tool really remove this Rootkit? I have tried several, however each time I scan with Microsoft’s Tool, the virus is still on my computer?

Going in thru Wdws Catalogue / Marketplace Got me into the latest updated version of Wdws Live One Scanning tools and was able to isolate the little bugger. Problem is that there are some manual steps rerquired that I got blocked out of. At least I could then run the MS Update page again. This is only the umteen dozenth time I’ve had to clean my dumb-ass brother’s system. So I’ll run this and report back. It’ll be different than re-doing the entire OS…AGAIN…

I would recommend using their free scan and it comes in a zip file so you can use a different pc and load it to a memory stick or whatever. No huge downloads and it took about 10 minutes and i was done. i searched for days believe me and this worked!
