Trojan-psw.win32launch is a 32-bit systems oriented malware. However, it can run, but less efficiently, in other system environments, too.
Since recently the infection has become rather notorious for including its name into fake antispyware reports. For example, Windows Pro Web Helper adware has been caught at displaying the message stating the PC is about to shutdown because of password stealing malware detected.
The notification on password retrieving virus is often shown on the background of such popups as (fake) Windows Advanced Security Center, fake scan windows by Pro Web Helper scareware, alerts notifying on browser failure due to infection purportedly found in its main exactable.
Removal of Trojan-psw.win32launch, however, still applies to actual instances of the spyware. The real infection is still circulated.
